Stranger On The Porch And Stolen Christmas Decorations Reported

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Monday, December 30 and Wednesday, January 1.
On Monday, Dec. 30 at 11:23 a.m. a man was transported to a nearby hospital after falling down the stairs at town hall.
At 1:36 p.m. a Thomas Road resident reported a strange man was on her porch. He turned out to be a surveyor for an upcoming sale of the house.
At 2:38 p.m. a caller reported some Christmas decorations stolen from a front porch on Edgemere Road.
At 5:56 p.m. a hit and run accident was reported at Eastern Mountain Sports at MarketStreet Lynnfield.
At 6:15 p.m. a Pocahontas Way resident reported somebody banging on her doors and windows. He was a pizza deliveryman with a wrong address.
At 8 p.m. police took a report involving a scam where somebody claiming to be from National Grid told her to go make a payment at a Lowell Street address.
At 10:04 p.m. a license plate was reported stolen from the UPS parking lot on Kimball Lane.
At 11:06 p.m. some cars were reported racing on Chestnut Street.
On Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 8:32 a.m. a suspicious person was reported on Midland Road.
At 6:49 p.m. a 10 year old was transported to a nearby hospital after suffering an allergic reaction at Davio’s.
At 10:49 p.m. a caller reported people drinking outside a home on Robin Road, An officer found a designated driver preparing to bring them home.
On Wednesday, January 1 at 12:30 a.m. a caller reported a young female out of her car in bare feet near Knoll Road. She was gone on arrival.
At 3:54 a.m. police were called to Main Street for a dispute between a cab driver and his fare, who apparently did not pay at first.
At 11:41 a.m. a resident brought in an old knife for disposal.
At 1:37 p.m. an accident was reported Condon Circle with one injury.
At 5:41 p.m. a suspicious vehicle was reported on Oakridge Terrace. It checked out OK.
