Stolen Parcel, Man Banging At Door Among Weekend Reports

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, December 6 and Sunday, December 8, 2013.

On Friday, December 6 at 9:24 a.m., a suspicious auto was reported on Knoll Road. It turned out to be a cleaning service.
At 9:36 a.m. police were informed that a man was banging on the post office door when it had opened late. He was gone on arrival.
At 3:16 p.m. a Green Street resident reported that a parcel had been delivered to his neighbor’s house and that the neighbor had kept it.
At 4:34 p.m. a suspicious vehicle was reported on Edward Ave. It turned out to be a work crew.
At 5:07 p.m. an accident was reported on Route 128.

On Saturday, December 7 at 10:15 a.m., a vandalism report was received from Pond View Lane.
At 3:36 p.m. a caller reported that two men at the Lynnfield Woods Office Park were taking a UPS box apart. Nothing out of order was found.
At 3:56 p.m. an accident was reported on Summer Street. One was transported to an area hospital.
At 9:26 p.m. a caller reported a white car was driving past her house honking the horn. It was gone on arrival.

On Sunday, December 8 at 8:31 p.m. a suspicious auto was reported on Horseshoe Drive. It was gone on arrival.
