Snow-Throwing Youths And More Generated Police Calls

A look at last week's Lynnfield Police Log.

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service last week:

On Monday, February 21 at 6:27 a.m., police took a report of a vehicle on Bay State road hindering snow removal. The vehicle was towed.
At 11:52 a.m., a Walnut Road resident reported a suspicious person. No one was located.
At 2:55 p.m., a Burglar alarm activation occurred on Candlewood Road. Home was secure.
At 3:39 p.m., police took a walk-in report of an open door or window, but determined it was unfounded.
At 6:03 p.m., police took a report involving a locker break-in at Boston Sports Club.
At 9:36 p.m. and 10:10 p.m., police responded to burglar alarms in town.

On Tuesday, February 22 at 9:10 a.m., police received a report of an erratic operator on Summer Street.
Police performed various house and building checks during the day.
At 10:07 a.m., police took a report of a car blocking the entrance to the Savings Bank.
At 11:59 a.m., police took a report of a vehicle leaking gasoline. Fire Department handled the situation.
At 12:11 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Lynnfield Street.
At 6:07 p.m., a citizen walked in to report that youths were throwing snowballs at vehicles in the area.
At 6:08 p.m., a Lara Lane resident reported a suspicious auto and requested extra patrols.
At 8:05 p.m., police broke up a gathering of youths at the Center Court parking lot.
At 8:35 p.m., an individual reported suspicious autos parked behind the Mormon Church. They left when the police arrived.
At 9:18 p.m., a Homestead Road resident reported hearing a suspicious noise upstairs. Police investigated and found all in order.
At 9:27 p.m., a caller reported that they had struck a deer near the 99 Restaurant.
At 10:49 p.m., a caller stated that they may have heard a gunshot near Elizabeth Way. All was quiet when police arrived.

On Wednesday, February 23 at 4:13 a.m., police responded to an alarm at Bostonville Grille. The building was found to be secure.
At 7:14 a.m., a caller reported broken glass at the end of their driveway on Lovell Road.
At 8:02 a.m., police responded to a report of a damaged door at Sovereign Bank. They determined the door had actually come off its hinges on its own.
At 8:32 a.m., a Friars Lane resident reported that a suspicious black Cadillac with tinted windows had been parked in the street for about 10 minutes.
At 8:47 a.m., police handled a walk-in civil complaint.
At 9:17 a.m., a Keniston Road resident reported a vandalism incident.
At 9:38 a.m., a citizen reported a disabled auto on South Broadway, although police were unable to locate it.
At 10:35 a.m., a citizen walked in to file a larceny report.
At 2:01 p.m., police took a report of an unwanted party on Elizabeth Way.
At 2:18 p.m., police took a vandalism report from Kelly Nissan.
At 2:21 p.m., police took a walk-in identity fraud report.
At 6:35 p.m., police issued a summons to Bladimir Deleon, 24, of Lynn for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a lights violation; and to Hugo Lopez-Villatoro for improper operation of a motor vehicle.
At 9:30 p.m., police took a trespassing complaint from near Lynnfield Middle School.

On Thursday, February 24 at 3:08 a.m., there was an alarm activation at Bostonville Grille.
At 7:20 a.m., police took a report of a deer struck by a motorist.
At 10:07 p.m., a citizen reported motion lights activated at a house on Melch Road.
At 10:14 p.m., police took a report of youths throwing snow at motorists.

On Friday, February 25 at 5:08 a.m., a caller on Lynnfield Street stated they had heard knocking at their door.
At 8:06 a.m., police assisted a Ross Drive resident with a lockout.
At 12:17 p.m., police took a walk-in identity fraud report.
At 1:15 and 5:26 p.m., police responded to burglar alarms.
At 3 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident at Goodwin's Circle.
At 6:40 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Salem Street.
At 6:41 p.m., police took a report of icy road conditions.
At 7:13 p.m., police assisted a vehicle stuck on the snow on Edgemere Road.
At 10:43 p.m., a caller reported a verbal assault on an Exxon employee.

On Saturday, February 26 at 8:05 a.m., a caller reported that his vehicle was stuck in the Center Village parking lot.
At 10:50 a.m., there was a burglar alarm activation on North Hill Drive.
At 2:41 p.m., a Horseshoe drive resident reported a CO alarm activation. The fire department handled the matter.
At 5:50 p.m., a Hidden Valley Road resident reported a suspicious man in a black coat across the street.
At 11:05 p.m., police assisted a motorist on Main Street.

On Sunday, February 27 at 12:39 a.m., Stephen Miele was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery and, at the time, attempted murder.
At 11:01 a.m., police took a report of a car impeding snow removal on Apple Hill Lane.
At 12:11 p.m, police took a report of a car impeding snow removal on Greenmeadow Drive.
At 1:11 p.m., there was an accident on South Broadway. The incident was handled by the state police.
At 1:29 p.m., police assisted with a disabled auto on Condon Circle.
