Sleigh And Reindeer Display Stolen

responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, Dec. 16 and Sunday, Dec. 18:

On Friday, Dec. 16 at 1:14 a.m., police investigated a burglar alarm at the Wakefield Elks Club, which was apparently set off by a worker.
At 11:52 a.m., a Carpenter Road resident reported a suspicious BMW in the neighborhood.
At 2:24 p.m., police took a walk-in report involving a fraudulent withdrawal from a man's bank account.
At 6:26 p.m., a disabled auto was reported on Walnut Street.
At 7:38 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported on North Broadway.
At 7:39 p.m., a Carpenter Road resident reported that a 60-inch long sleigh and reindeer Christmas display was stolen from her front lawn. The theft was discovered when she went to turn on the Christmas lights that evening.
At 11:14 p.m., police picked up a teenager who had been walking on Chestnut Street.

On Saturday, Dec. 17 at 1:23 a.m., a caller reported that a white SUV was parked in the area with a Christmas tree on its roof and with two people apparently yelling at each other, one of them on foot. Police did not find a car matching that description.
At 8:56 a.m., a burglar alarm went off on Hilltop Road. It turned out the home's new owners had not received the alarm's codes from the previous owners.
At 9:24 a.m., a caller reported getting a note about overdue DVDs from the library a few weeks after his wife's library card was stolen in a housebreak several weeks ago.
At 10:35 a.m., a Murphy Way resident reported that his briefcase was stolen the night before in Peabody and that there was now a suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood.
At 12:44 p.m., police checked out a 911 hangup.
At 2:32 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with no injuries was reported near the town common.
At 6 p.m., police checked out a 911 hangup.
At 6:44 p.m., an injured deer was reported on Lowell Street.

On Sunday, Dec. 18 at 12:35 a.m., a suspicious auto was reported on Olde Towne Road.
At 12:54 a.m., a Center Road resident reported that some juveniles had parked in front of her house and ran down the street. They turned out to be visiting friends.
At 11:14 a.m.. a burglar alarm went off on Lowell Street, thought to be set off by the dog.
At 11:23 a.m., a caller reported that a vehicle had been parked at the for several days in a row. It turned out to belong to an employee.
At 1:56 p.m., police took a walk-in report involving a domestic disturbance.
At 2:02 p.m., police took a report involving fraud.
At 2:37 p.m., there was an accident on Condon Circle - the people were gone on arrival.
At 6:34 p.m., an individual called to report an injured bird. Animal Control came and picked it up at the station.
At 10:05 p.m., police gave a man a ride to a shelter in Lynn from the Exxon on Broadway.
At 10:14 p.m., a Prospect Avenue resident reported that another car had bumped into his and driven off, and provided the plate number to police.
