Shoplifting Arrest Reported Over The Weekend

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, August 23 and Sunday, August 25. 

On Friday, August 23 at 9:42 a.m. police took a complaint about work noise on Elizabeth Way. 
At 10:01 a.m. a fence damaged by a vehicle was reported on Essex Street. 
At 1:31 p.m. an accident was reported on Route 1 North in front of Kelly Nissan. 
At 1:50 p.m. police assisted a woman who fell and lost her glasses behind a bush. 
At 2:42 p.m. police were informed of a customer at the Christmas Tree Shop who allegedly walked away with some merchandise. Soon after, they arrested Ann Marie Carey, 62, 163 Coolidge, Revere, charging her with shoplifting by asportation, 2nd offense. 
At 6:06 p.m. police sent a group of youths on their way from the middle school. 
At 9:06 p.m. a loud music complaint was received from Grove Street. 
At 9:24 p.m. two suspicious men were reported in the Glen Meadow Park parking lot. 
At 10:49 p.m. a possibly intoxicated driver reportedly struck another motorist's side mirror. 

On Saturday, August 24 at 8:20 a.m. a Standish Road resident reported that someone drove on his lawn during the night. 
At 2:29 p.m. an accident was reported on Condon Circle, no injury. 
At 5:47 p.m. a debit card was reportedly stolen from a car at the high school. 
At 8:35 p.m. a suspicious auto was reported parked on Ingalls Terrace. 
At 10:33 p.m. two bikes were reported stolen from a front lawn on Apple Hill Lane. 
At 10:58 p.m. two suspicious cars were reported on Munroe Ave. They were gone on arrival. 
At 11:24 p.m. a caller reported that a group was lighting fireworks at Glen Meadow Park and that one had thrown a cup of beer at his car. 

On Sunday, August 25 at 5:26 a.m. an accident with no injury was reported on Broadway. 
At 10:41 p.m. some youths playing basketball at OLA school were sent on their way. 
At 10:52 p.m. a child's carriage was reported to be on Summer Street.
