'Seasoned' Criminal Steals Second Batch Of Firewood

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 16.

On Friday, Sept. 14 at 3:03 a.m., a suspicious person was reported on Rossmore Road possibly going through a car. The individual was gone on arrival.
At 7:36 a.m., two men were reportedly fighting on the corner of Salem and Walnut Street. Police did not locate them.
At 8:37 p.m., police issued a summons to a 41 year old Lynn man for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unsafe operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to stop/yield.
At 11:15 p.m., police dispersed a group of youths from the Bali Hai parking lot.

On Saturday, Sept. 15 at 12 a.m., a caller reported some youths were trying to pull down the street sign on Wildewood Drive. An officer found the youths gone and the sign still intact.
At 12:07 a.m., a caller reported some youths were drinking in the Bali Hai parking lot.
At 4:22 a.m., a vehicle reportedly ran out of gas on Essex Street.
At 11:32 a.m., a Bourque Road resident reported a mailbox damaged overnight.
At 1:44 p.m., a young football player was sent to North Shore Children's Hospital with an elbow injury.
At 6 p.m., a Pond View Lane resident reported that firewood was stolen from their property for the second time in a couple of months.
At 7:33 p.m., police issued a summons to a 22 year old Lynn man for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
At 7:45 p.m., some youths were reported banging on the windows at OLA School.
At 10:21 p.m., police dispersed some youths playing basketball at the OLA parking lot after receiving a noise complaint.
At 10:47 p.m., police dispersed a group of youths from the Post Office on Salem Street.
At 11:03 p.m., After an incident on Partridge Lane, police issued a summons to a 54 year old Woburn man for breaking and entering for misdemeanor, assault and battery, and witness intimidation.
At 11:25 p.m., a toilet papered house was reported on Grey Lane.

On Sunday, September 16 at 12:20 a.m., police responded to a noisy party report on Greenwood Road.
At 1:16 a.m., a barking dog complaint was received from Wymon Way.
At 9:12 a.m., a caller reported that he was locked inside the gate at Simply Storage. An officer could not get him out, so the man apparently waited until somebody from the business arrived.
At 1:15 p.m., a caller reported that her daughter has been receiving harassing calls.
At 6:52 p.m., a verbal dispute was reported on Wheeler Street.
At 8:58 p.m., police were informed that several people got out of a grey minivan and were refused service at the Ninety-Nine because they were already intoxicated.
At 9:04 p.m., two youths were reportedly walking on Fairview Ave. They checked out OK.
At 9:05 p.m., police took a report of people drinking in a red van in the Ninety Nine parking lot.
