Resident Reports Attempted Vehicle Break-In, Two Arrested Soon After

Information provided by Lynnfield Police. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Thursday, January 9 and Saturday, January 11, 2014.
On Thursday, January 9 at 5:41 p.m. the fire department responded to Archer Lane for a report of a smoke in a house.
At 6:17 p.m. a motorist received a verbal warning near Ramsdell Way.

On Friday, January 10 at 5:25 p.m. a suspicious auto with a sleeping man was reported on Pillings Pond Road. It turned out to be a Comcast worker.
At 6:35 p.m. an erratic operator was reported on Summer Street. It was gone on arrival.
At 9:09 p.m. police investigated an open garage door found on Bishop’s Lane.

On Saturday, January 11 at 3:34 a.m., police were informed of a man sleeping in his car in front of Davio’s at MarketStreet Lynnfield. A cab ride home was arranged.
At 4:29 a.m. a Townsend Road resident reported two people who appeared to be trying to break into a car. Police arrested Alicia L. Pacini, 22, 111R Main Street, Peabody, and charged her on an out of town warrant. Police also arrested Steven N. Cunha, 26, 36 Proctor, Peabody, and charged him with assault and battery (domestic).
At 10:21 a.m. a high school wrestler was transported from the school with a possible dislocated elbow.
At 3:19 p.m. police were called to Moulton Drive for a report of a found envelope containing packets of white powder.
At 3:35 p.m. a minor accident was reported on Essex Street.
At 4:10 p.m. a Yorkshire Drive resident reported that somebody was possibly in the house. Everything checked out OK.
At 4:40 p.m. a minor accident was reported at MarketStreet Lynnfield.
At 6:41 p.m. an accident was reported on Main Street near 128.
