Reading Glasses In The Road And Random Requests For Gas Money

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, November 28 and Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012.

On Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 8:10 a.m., police took a call from a man who reported that two weeks ago, he had lost his reading glasses on the Route 128 rotary.
At 10:21 a.m., a suspicious truck with a deer stand in the back was reported parked on Olde Towne Road. An area search came up negative.
At 3:09 p.m., police provided a lift assist to a town resident.
At 9:46 p.m., police and rescue personnel responded to a medical matter at Exit 43.

On Thursday, Nov. 29 at 12:26 a.m. a suspicious person was reported on Locksley Road.
At 2:58 p.m., an odor of gas was reported on Summer Street.
At 7:38 p.m., two people reportedly came into Northrup Associates asking for gas money. Soon after, police issued a summons to a 72 year old Saugus woman for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and for operating with a revoked registration.
At 8:15 p.m., an accident was reported on North Broadway.
