Purse Stolen From Church Pew, and a Handful of Vehicle Break-Ins

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, May 24 and Monday, May 27.
On Friday, May 24 at 8:36 a.m. an accident was reported on Condon Circle. State Police responded.
At 11:53 a.m. an accident was reported near Donovan's Liquors.
At 3:10 p.m. a stolen cell phone was reported at the library. It was reported found soon after.
At 4:21 p.m. police responded to a report involving a neighbor dispute on Upton Lane.
At 5:24 p.m. an accident was reported in the Christmas Tree Shop parking lot.
At 5:30 p.m. a Summer Street resident reported a hunter had been on their property.
At 8:35 p.m. police took a report involving a problem between roommates on Townsend Road.
At 9:52 p.m. a Crest Road resident reported possibly hearing footsteps outside the house. All was found in order.
On Saturday, May 25 at 6:31 a.m. a suspicious auto was reported on Nottingham Road. It was gone on arrival.
At 7:45 a.m. a young man was reported passed out in a car on Archer Lane. The vehicle was later located in a driveway at its registered address in town.
At 9:53 a.m. police took a report of three suspicious young men on North Hill Drive the previous night.
At 5:01 p.m. an accident was reported on Condon Circle. The parties were gone on arrival.
At 8:48 p.m. a parking complaint was received from Rockwood Road.
At 9 p.m. police took a report of an ongoing issue with a speeding car on Essex Street.
At 9:55 p.m. a caller on Lakewood Road reported some youths getting in and out of cars.
On Sunday, May 26 at 9:53 a.m. a dog was reportedly running in and out of traffic on Summer Street.
At 10:08 a.m. a woman reported that a Hermes pocketbook containing a Hermes wallet was stolen from a pew at St. Maria Goretti Church. The purse had apparently been left unattended in the pew for a short period of time and the wallet alone was reportedly valued at about $3,000.
At 11:17 a.m. several bags of trash were reported on the street on Brook Drive.
On Monday, May 27 at 8 a.m. a motor vehicle break-in was reported on Apple Hill Lane.
At 8:18 a.m. a motor vehicle break-in was reported on Cortland Lane.
At 8:33 a.m. a motor vehicle break-in was reported on Cortland Lane.
At 10:15 a.m. a Cortland Lane resident reported vehicles were broken into.
At 11:01 a.m. another motor vehicle break-in was reported on Cortland Lane.
