Police Log: Must Have Been A Full Moon

One "very angry turkey." Two verbally abusive customers. File under, "three things that may be tough to tell apart."

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service the week of March 21-27, 2011:

On Monday, March 21 at 12:54 a.m., police assisted a motorist who was out of gas near exit 44B on Route 128.
Police performed various building checks throughout the week.
At 9:11 a.m., a resident attempting to call India accidentally called 911.
At 1:04 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious auto and a driver who walked around the back of their house and left upon spotting the resident. The same vehicle had been seen on the street Friday and was described as a brown Subaru-type motor vehicle and very dirty.
At 7:13 p.m., police took a walk-in report involving a stolen registration plate.
At 7:56 p.m., a breaking and entering was reported on Tree Top Lane.
At 9:18 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Tree Top Lane.

On Tuesday, March 22 at 7:25 a.m., police received a report stating that "a very angry turkey" was causing a traffic problem on Chestnut Street. Peace was restored.
At 7:40 a.m., a Wakefield resident reported a missing dog, which was described as a small black terrier mix named Izzy, with a harness and a leash.
At 10:28 a.m., there was a rollover motor vehicle accident on North Broadway.
At 1:18 p.m., a burglar alarm went off on Lantern Lane.
At 3 p.m., a juvenile reportedly took $20 from another juvenile at the library. The money was returned without further incident.
At 3:30 p.m., an individual reported a stolen wallet at the Middle School.
At 5:09 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on North Broadway.
At 6:55 p.m., police provided a lift assist to an individual on Partridge Lane.
At 10:37 p.m., there was a burglar alarm activation on Stafford Road.

On Wednesday, March 23 at 2:47 a.m., there was a burglar alarm activation at the Middle School. The building was secure.
At 4:38 a.m., the Lynnfield Gulf reported that a customer was being verbally abusive.
At 7:50 a.m., there was a burglar alarm activation on Archer Lane.
At 11:23 a.m., there was a motor vehicle complaint on Homestead Road.
At 1:52 p.m., a burglar alarm went off on Magnolia Drive.
At 3:15 p.m., a burglary was reported on South Broadway.
At 3:55 p.m., police assisted a Crescent Avenue resident who had fallen.
At 5:21 p.m., a North Broadway resident reported an illegal burn.
At 5:47 p.m., there was a major motor vehicle accident on South Broadway involving a drunken driver.
At 6 p.m., Lynnfield police were assisting state police with traffic control on Route 1 after the motor vehicle accident.
At 11:45 p.m., police responded to a suspicious auto complaint on Huntingdon Road and spoke with the party in question.

On Thursday, March 24 at 7:54 a.m., a burglar alarm went off at Yankee Candle.
At 8:35 a.m., a suspicious auto was reported on North Hill Drive.
At 9:46 a.m. there was a burglar alarm activation on Salem Street.
At 1:24 p.m., a motorist reported an erratic operator on Condon Circle. Lynn Police were notified.
At 6 p.m., police took a walk-in report involving a larceny.
At 8:20 p.m., police took a walk-in report involving a neighbor complaint.
At 9:46 p.m., an individual reported that their car's window had been smashed and a laptop was stolen while parked at the Fat Cactus.

On Friday, March 25 at 7:33 a.m., a fire alarm went off on Charing Cross.
At 11:17 a.m., police assisted an individual on Partridge Lane who had fallen.
At 3:38 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Salem Street.
At 9:05 p.m., police arrested Gerardo Sanchez, 42, of North Andover for a marked lanes violation and operating under the influence of liquor.
At 10:20 p.m. a Huntingdon Road resident reported that youths had been spray painting property in the area.

On Saturday, March 26 at 6:32 a.m., a burglar alarm went off at Yankee Candle. The building was secure.
At 9:27 a.m., students in the building accidentally set off an alarm at the high school.
At 3:12 p.m., a burglar alarm went off at the Savings Bank while an ATM was being serviced.
At 5:47 p.m., a suspicious person was spotted on Apple Hill Lane. The caller said it was a 50-year-old male in a red jacket looking at houses and spotted walking toward Cortland. The individual was gone when police arrived.
At 7:21 p.m., police arrested Aldo Lopez, 23, of Lynn for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and on an out of town warrant.
At 9:06 p.m., Donovan's Liquors reported that an intoxicated patron had been giving the clerk a hard time. The individual reportedly left in a black Lexus and Peabody police were notified.
At 10:10 p.m., a group of youths were reported to be behind Summer Street School. Police escorted them to a parent's house.
At 10:55 p.m., a black dog was reported on Salem Street. The dog was located and picked up by animal control.

On Sunday, March 27 at 5:49 a.m., a Merrow Road resident reported someone had knocked at their door. No one was found.
At 12:20 p.m., a caller reported that a man would not exchange papers with her after damaging her vehicle in the Christmas Tree Shop parking lot. Police assisted the parties with the exchange of papers.
At 1:17 p.m., a caller reported that a tow truck had dropped an unknown motor vehicle off beside her property and later came back to get it. It apparently involved a repossession activity.
At 3:20 p.m., there was a speeding complaint on Timberhill Lane.
At 4 p.m., a caller on Lynnbrook Road said she had been verbally harassed and followed on the street by an individual in a car.
At 9:12 p.m., a black truck with loud exhaust was reported driving up and down Saunders Road.
At 9:46 p.m., a suspicious auto was reported at the Lynnfield Exxon.
