Police Log: Burglars Struck Couple Of Dwellings Last Week

Despite tough weather conditions, town otherwise avoided accidents and other mishaps.

On Monday, January 24 at 2:38 p.m., a Trickett Road resident informed police the driver of a truck parked nearby had been rude when she asked him to move his vehicle.
During the day, police performed various house and building checks.
At 2:44 p.m., Christopher Peluso, 36, of Wakefield, was arrested on an out of town warrant.
At 2:54 p.m., police performed a well-being check at the request of an individual who had not seen their neighbor in several days.
At 4:30 p.m., police investigated a burglary/b+E on North Broadway. An apartment door was forced in and the dwelling was ransacked.
At 5:43 p.m., police responded to an alarm activation on Brooke Drive.

On Tuesday, January 25 at 8:44 a.m., police took a report involving threats/harassment.
Police performed various building checks during the day.
At 9:30 a.m., police assisted with a medical aid transport.
At 10:26 a.m., police performed a well-being check.
At 10:38 a.m., police assisted with a medical aid transport.
At 12:48 p.m., police investigated a report of a burglary/b+E on Walnut Street.
At 1:26 p.m., a caller reported that a vehicle had tried to run her off the road. An area search was negative.
At 1:50 and 2:10 p.m., police responded to fire alarm activations.
At 2:33 p.m., a caller reported a vehicle blocking her driveway. Police were unable to locate it.
At 5:38 p.m., a caller reported a deer struck by a vehicle.
At 7:30 p.m., a Walnut St. resident called about a suspicious vehicle parked in front of their neighbor's house.
At 8:07 p.m., a hit and run motor vehicle accident was reported at Boston Sports Club.

On Wednesday, January 26 at 12:15 a.m., police assisted with a water break near Summer Street. The DPW was notified.
Police performed various building checks in town.
At 8:18 a.m., police received a report of an auto left running in the Ninety-Nine parking lot.
At 11:04 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Elizabeth Way.
At 2:49 p.m., a hit and run accident was reported on Main Street.
At 5:58 p.m., a motor vehicle accident occurred.
At 10:58 p.m., police assisted a Pine Hill Road resident with a water situation.
At 10:38 p.m., police assisted with a medical aid transport.

On Thursday, January 27 at 1:07 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident in front of the Ship Restaurant. State Police were notified.
Police performed various building checks in town.
At 5:33 a.m., police investigated a burglar alarm at Kelly Jeep Chrysler Plymouth.
At 6:07 a.m., police assisted a disabled auto on Walnut Street.
At 6:57 a.m., a burglar alarm activated on Sylvan Circle. Alarm was apparently set off by a homeowner shoveling snow.
At 7:37 a.m., police received a request to move parked cars on Underhill Road because they were blocking plows.
At 9:08 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on North Broadway.
At 11:13 a.m., police investigated an alarm on Russell Lane. The house was secure.
At 12:34 p.m., police received a report of a vehicle lockout on Huckleberry Road. Resident later found another key.
At 2:49 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Chestnut Street. A vehicle rolled over, although there was no personal injury.
At 5:35 p.m., police received a report of a vehicle into a snow bank on Main Street.
At 9:45 p.m., police assisted with a fire alarm that may have been triggered by an oil burner problem.
At 9:21 p.m. a Hart Road resident reported someone tried to open their door around 3 a.m. The man stated his neighbor had a similar experience. No one was seen. Extra patrols were requested.

On Friday, January 28 at 8:10 a.m., police responded to a fire alarm at Sunrise Assisted Living.
At 9:04 a.m., there was a fire alarm on Ivanhoe Drive.
During the day, police performed various building checks.
At 3 p.m., police took a walk-in larceny report.
At 3:03 p.m., an individual phoned in a larceny report.
At 6 p.m., police issued a citation to a 27-year-old Lynn man for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and for failing to restrain a child under 5 in a car seat.
At 8 p.m., police issued a citation to a 19-year-old Peabody man for operating with a suspended license, failing to have registration in his possession and an inspection violation.
At 11:50 p.m., a Summer Street resident reported a plow was dropping snow onto their property.

On Saturday, January 29 at 12:02 a.m., 2:37 a.m. and 5:23 a.m., police assisted with medical aid transports.
Police performed various building checks during the day.
At 11:25 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Apple Hill Lane. The house was secure.
At 2:15 p.m., police took a walk-in report involving a custody dispute.
At 6:25 p.m., a Hilltop Road resident reported that cars parked on both sides of the street were making passage difficult. The street was later found clear.
At 7:43 p.m., police investigated a burglar alarm on Fall Way. A door had been forced in.
At 8 p.m., police took a report of a disabled auto. An area search was negative.
At 8:15 p.m. and 1057 p.m., police assisted with medical aid calls.

On Sunday, January 30 at 12:50 a.m., police took a suspicious person report from Village Row.
Police performed various building checks in town.
At 9:21 a.m., police assisted with a disabled auto on Condon Circle.
At 11:19 a.m., police assisted with a disabled auto on Country Club Drive.

On Monday, January 31 at 4:07 a.m., a Birch Road resident reported an animal in her heating vent. Animal control was on the scene, but the animal could not be located.
At 4:45 a.m., a Lakeview Drive resident reported a car that parks each night on the road. Officers left a warning for the driver.
At 7:08 a.m., police assisted with a fire alarm response.
