Police Called On TV News Crew, And Numerous Vehicle Break-Ins Reported

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, December 7th and Sunday, December 9th.
On Friday, December 7 at 8:36 a.m., a minor accident occurred on South Broadway.
At 10:25 a.m., a suspicious person was reported on Bluejay Road. It was a town employee doing work.
At 2 p.m. police spoke with a motorist on Summer Street who had been following somebody too closely.
At 4:09 p.m., police took a call from Boston Sports Club about a Channel 5 news truck that would not leave the parking lot. The crew was apparently doing a story about the John Burbine case.
At 7:37 p.m., police issued a summons to a Lynnfield juvenile for assault and battery, domestic.
At 8:06 p.m., police assisted with a dwelling lockout.
On Saturday, December 8 at 3:12 a.m., a large power outage affecting parts of Peabody and Lynnfield was reported.
At 8:31 a.m., a car was initially reported stolen on Forest Hill Ave. and then the report was canceled.
At 9:31 a.m., a Yorkshire Drive resident reported finding an arrow in his yard. Police advised to call back if illegal hunters are spotted in the area.
At 10:14 a.m., a motor vehicle break in was reported on Wing Road.
At 10:15 a.m., a motor vehicle break in was reported on Crest Road.
At 11:17 a.m., a motor vehicle brea in was reported on Essex Street.
At 11:50 a.m., a motor vehicle break in was reported on Crest Road.
At 2:54 p.m., the fire department responded to a dryer fire reported on Chestnut Street.
At 3:06 p.m., a Ramsdell Road resident reported finding a gun in the woods. It turned out to be a plastic BB gun.
At 3:38 p.m., a ATV was reported operating on Pine Street. It was gone on arrival.
At 4 p.m., a motor vehicle break in was reported on Westover Drive.
At 11:42 p.m., an accident was reported on Lowell Street.
On Sunday, December 9 at 2:10 a.m., police provided a lift assist to a town resident.
At 1:03 p.m., police helped a locked out resident on Fletcher Drive.
At 3:46 p.m., a domestic argument was reported on Fernway.
At 8:12 p.m., a suspicious auto was reported on Melch Road. It turned out to belong to a nearby resident.
