Police Arrest One After Traffic Stop

On Wednesday, October 5th at 12:30 a.m., a Cortland Lane resident reported that she thought somebody had been trying to open her storm door. Nothing out of order was found.
At 5:29 a.m., a motor vehicle fire was reported on the Route 128 ramp.
At 6:57 a.m., a caller reported a turkey had been struck by a car on Chestnut Street but was still alive.
At 7:22 a.m., police monitored traffic for National Walk To School Day.
At 8:10 a.m., about $600 worth of copper was reported stolen from Salem Street.
At 11:48 a.m., a caller reported that an elderly woman was standing at Goodwin Rotary. She was gone on arrival.
At 12:05 p.m., an accidental burglar alarm went off on Bourque Road.
At 12:24 p.m., cleaners set off a burglar alarm on Lowell Street.
At 3:22 p.m., an accidental alarm was triggered on Lander Road.
At 5:21 p.m., an ATM alarm was triggered by a worker at .
At 9:20 p.m., police arrested Jessica Harris, 26, of 2 Lions Lane, Apt 1701 in Salem for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
At 10:09 p.m., a motor vehicle break-in was reported on Salem Street.
At 10:20 p.m., police provided a lift assist to a town resident.
At 11:37 p.m., an audible alarm was reported on Cortland Road. Police found the scene quiet upon arrival.
On Thursday, October 6 at 10:14 a.m., a caller reported that she had spotted two men trying to break into the former Mt. Vernon at the Ship restaurant.
At 5:38 p.m., police responded to a situation involving a dwelling lockout on Fletcher Road.
