Passed Out Boyfriend Was Only Joking

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, December 28 and Tuesday, January 1.

On Friday, Dec. 28 at 12:45 a.m., a caller reported footprints in the snow in the yard on Lynnfield Street.
At 12:36 p.m., a Debston Lane resident reported a suspicious person had gone into the woods behind her home. It turned out to be an electrical meter reader.
At 4:25 p.m., police responded to a loud music complaint on Broadway.
At 5:15 p.m., an Olde Towne Road resident reported that an illegal hunter had parked his pickup truck on the street.
At 11:36 p.m., a suspicious auto with no lights was reported driving around on Crescent Ave.

On Saturday, Dec. 29 at 12:21 a.m., a caller reported a flashing yellow light on a house at the corner of Fairview Road and Laurel Road. Nothing out of order was found.
At 12:37 a.m., a missing dog was reported on Perry Lane. It was found soon after.
At 5:46 p.m., police issued a summons to a 38 year old Lynnfield man for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating with a revoked registration. At 6:16 p.m., police investigated what appeared to be a broken padlock at Pocahontas Spring Water.
At 11:25 p.m., an accident with no injury was reported on Route 128 South and Walnut Street.

On Sunday, Dec. 30 at 1:11 a.m., an accident was reported at Exit 43 on Route 128. State Police handled it.
At 3:19 a.m., an auto reportedly drove into a fence near Walnut and Salem Streets.
At 3:30 p.m., a Doncaster Circle resident reported that two men had been walking through the yard. Police noted that the tracks led to the electric meters.
At 6:34 p.m., police checked on a domestic disturbance at Charing Cross.

On Monday, Dec. 31 at 3:10 p.m., police took a larceny report from Yorkshire Drive.

On Tuesday, Jan. 1 at 4:05 a.m., a woman called to report that her 16 year old son had not returned home from the previous night. She called back at 10:03 a.m. to report that he had returned home.
At 1:07 a.m., a Locksley Road resident reported somebody walking through the yard. It was teens walking home.
At 1:35 a.m., some people were reported yelling in a car on Grey Lane.
At 6:02 a.m., a woman on Vokes Terrace reported that her boyfriend had just passed out. At 6:07 a.m., she called back to report that the boyfriend had only been joking.
At 2:30 p.m., a vandalism report came in from Jordan Road.
At 6:13 p.m., a two car accident was reported on Lowell Street.
At 6:36 p.m. rescue personnel transported a woman to Salem Hospital after she fell on ice on Main Street.
