Numerous Vehicle Break-Ins and a Wandering Toddler Reported

Information provided by Lynnfield Police. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Wednesday, April 3rd and Sunday, April 7th.

On Wednesday, April 3rd at 7:49 a.m. a caller on Salem Street reported that somebody had possibly crashed through their door. It turned out to be high winds banging the door around.
At 1:41 p.m. the Fire Department responded to Skinner Lane for an oil burner problem.

On Thursday, April 4th at 6:05 a.m. a motor vehicle break-in was reported on Edward Ave.
At 6:07 a.m. a motor vehicle break-in was reported on Keniston Road.
At 7:39 a.m. a motor vehicle break-in was reported on Pine Street. Nothing was reported taken.
At 8:14 a.m. a motor vehicle break-in was reported on Homestead Road. A purse was reported stolen.
At 8:39 a.m. a motor vehicle break-in was reported on Main Street.
At 8:49 a.m. a motor vehicle break-in was reported on Homestead Road.
At 8:51 a.m. a motor vehicle break-in was reported on Edward Ave.
At 8:52 a.m. an Edward Ave. resident reported that somebody had entered and gone through his vehicle, but nothing was taken.
At 9:43 a.m. a Summer Street resident reported three vehicles on his property had been keyed.
At 10:20 a.m. a motor vehicle break-in was reported on Pine Street.
At 10:46 a.m. a motor vehicle break-in was reported Pine Street.
At 12:14 p.m. an accident was reported on Salem Street.
At 4:35 p.m.a lost dog was reportedly found near the high school.
At 8:17 p.m. a motor vehicle break in was reported on Edward Ave but nothing was apparently stolen.
At 9:41 p.m. police issued a speeding warning near Keniston Road.

On Friday, April 5th at 2:50 a.m a loud music complaint came in from Lynnfield Commons. All was quiet on arrival.
At 10:56 a.m. police took a report involving a larceny.
At 3:33 p.m. police took a complaint involving an adult riding a go-ped on Douglass Road.
At 4:34 p.m. youths were reported on the roof at Huckleberry Hill School.
At 7:34 p.m. police took a call involving an assault. They arrested Michael Larosa, 25, 375 North Broadway, Lynnfield, for assault and battery - domestic.

On Saturday, April 6th at 2:57 a.m. a caller on Broadway reported hearing possible gunshots. Police found all quiet.
At 11:29 a.m. an officer issued a speeding warning on Pillings Pond Road.
At 2:51 p.m. a suspicious auto was reported on Cranberry Lane. It checked out OK.
At 7:07 p.m. police took a report involving the unauthorized use of a checkbook. They issued a summons to a 41 year old Lynnfield man charging him with larceny over $250, forgery of check and uttering a false check. They also issued a summons to a 38 year old Lynnfield woman for larceny over $250, forgery of a check, and uttering a false check.

On Sunday, April 7th at 10:20 a.m. a suspicious auto was reported at the middle school. It was gone on arrival.
At 10:44 a.m. police took a walk-in accident report.
At 2:30 p.m. police took a walk-in report involving threats.
At 2:38 p.m. police spoke with some youths who had reportedly been on the Huckleberry Hill School roof.
At 4:01 p.m. police were informed of a small child on the sidewalk near Grove Street unaccompanied by a parent. Further investigation found a father working in the yard who explained that he had lost track of time. The 3-year-old boy was reportedly noticed missing around the same time he was brought back home. Police determined the child was appropriately dressed and healthy with no signs of abuse or neglect.
