Man In Cowboy Hat, Meat Truck Draw Police Attention

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, July 25 and Tuesday, July 26:
On Monday, July 25 at 8:20 a.m., a domestic disturbance was reported on Bishop's Lane.
At 9:46 a.m., a missing manhole cover was reported behind the Post Office Square shops.
At 9:49 a.m., an Alderney Road resident informed police that he had driven off with a large display case of sunglasses still on his car roof.
At 11:43 a.m., an odor of gas was reported on Main Street.
At 12:31 p.m. a minor motor vehicle accident occurred on Salem Street.
At 12:55 p.m., a citizen walked in to talk to an officer about activity on Perry Ave.
At 2:15 p.m., a Munroe Street resident advised police an individual was going door to door selling cleaning materials. Police advised the vendor to get a permit at town hall.
At 3:24 p.m., police and fire personnel responded to an illegal burn on Birch Road.
At 6:58 p.m., police responded to a domestic situation on Bishops Lane. From there, they arrested a juvenile for domestic assault and battery.
On Tuesday, July 26 at 9:29 a.m., an unwanted individual was reported at Lynnfield Office Park.
At 10:19 a.m., a Wildewood Drive resident reported a suspicious man in a cowboy hat was going up to people's front doors.
At 11:47 a.m., police were informed of an individual selling meat out of a truck in the Pillings Pond parking lot.
At 1 p.m., a motor vehicle was towed from Lynnfield Commons.
At 1:58 p.m., a Ramsdell Way resident reported his back door had been damaged over the weekend.
At 4 p.m., an illegal dumping complaint was received from Sunrise Assisted Living.
At 4:54 p.m., a burglar alarm went off on Chatham Way.
At 9 p.m., a suspicious auto was reported on Herrick Lane. The caller reported that it sounded like the vehicle had struck a neighbor's fence, but police found no damage.
