Man Charged After Striking Vehicles At Nissan

State Police charge man after incident where he fell asleep and drove into vehicles parked at Kelly Nissan on Route 1.

The state police have filed charges against a 22-year-old Peabody man following an incident early Sunday morning that left several vehicles totaled.

According to the state police, Derek J. Ho was driving a 2005 Infiniti G35x when he apparently left the roadway and collided with two vehicles parked at the dealership on Route 1 in Lynnfield.

Rescue personnel transported Ho to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where he was treated for his injuries. No other injuries were reported in the crash.

State Police charged Ho with negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stay within marked lanes, and speeding.
