Man Charged After Domestic Incident

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, Sept. 17 and Tuesday, Sept. 18.

On Monday, Sept. 17 at 12:01 p.m., an injured deer was reported near Pocahontas Spring Water. Animal control responded.
At 12:01 p.m., police took a walk-in report involving a domestic matter. Police then arrested Juan Carlos Vargas, 49, 565 Walnut Street, Lynnfield, for assault and battery domestic, witness intimidation, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and kidnapping.

On Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 4:17 a.m., some grass clippings were reported burning on Trickett Road. The fire department responded.
At 8:15 p.m., some debris and glass was reported on Robin Road.
At 10:12 p.m., police took a walk-in report involving threats.
