Man Burns A Shed, Gets Summonsed

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, August 15 and Thursday, August 16.

On Wednesday, August 16 at 6:45 a.m., police took a report of a larceny.
At 11:39 a.m., a suspicious van was reported on the corner on Westover Drive.
At 1:13 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious white car on Locksley Road with two teens. It was gone on arrival.
At 1:24 p.m., a golf cart was reportedly being operated on Chatham Way.
At 2:01 p.m., Lynnfield notified Peabody Police of an erratic operator heading into that town.
At 7:54 p.m., a Trickett Road resident called to report that somebody had been taking pictures of his house.
At 9 p.m., police arrested Kevin Cook, 32, of 56 Gertrude St. in Lynn, on a warrant.
At 10:26 p.m., a caller reported a car on Moulton Drive with two people yelling. It was gone on arrival.

On Thursday, August 16 at 6:39 a.m., a caller reported construction work already underway. The crew agreed to hold off until 7 a.m.
At 11:41 a.m., police took a walk-in report involving threats.
At 9:45 p.m., state and Lynnfield Police responded to a report of a dog running loose on Route 128 near Salem Street.
At 10:34 p.m., the fire department responded to a report of a small shed on fire on Salem Street. Police issued a summons to a 53 year old Derry, NH, man for burning a building.
