Lynnfield Woman Injured in Route 1 Accident
The patient was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital.
A Lynnfield woman was in critical condition with non-life-threatening injuries today, July 27, after a traffic accident on Route 1 South.
The 45-year-old struck a utility pole on Route 1 South at Salem Street shortly before 10 a.m., a State Police spokesman said.
The woman was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital.
She was the lone occupant in the 2001 Ford Mustang, the only vehicle involved n the crash, police said.
As of mid-afternoon police were not releasing the identity of the woman pending notification of family.
