Lynnfield Man Arrested For Drug Possession

A 20-year-old Lynnfield man will be arraigned Monday morning.

t assisted by members of the Saugus Police Drug Enforcement Unit, conducted a joint investigation into possible illegal drug activity in Lynnfield.

As a result of that investigation, a search warrant was issued by Peabody District Court for 8 Fern Way, Lynnfield on Friday.

During the search of the single family residence, quantities of drugs were confiscated including Percocet, Marijuana, and Suboxone.  A resident of the property, Victor Alexander, 20, was arrested by Lynnfield Detective Anthony Hnath.

Alexander was charged with possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute, possession of Class D drug with intent to distribute, and illegal possession of a Class E drug. Alexander was arraigned Monday in Peabody District Court. Judge Richard Mori released Alexander on person recognizance. He will be back in court Oct. 11 for a pre-trial hearing.
