Lynnfield Firefighter Delivers Baby Girl

Lynnfield Fire Department responded to a report of a woman in labor Thursday morning. When firefighters arrived, Firefighter Paramedic Scott Myette determined that the baby would be born before emergency personnel could get mom to a hospital.

Myette delivered the baby, a healthy girl, on the scene, according to a statement from the Lynnfield Fire Department.

Also on scene with Myette were Deputy Glenn Davis, Capt. Mike Feinberg, Lt. Jim Wallace, firefighters John Perkins and Harry Coukos, and Lynnfield Police officers Sean Kilroy and Tony Nath.
