Lumber Reported Stolen On Pond View Road

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, Oct. 3 and Thursday, Oct. 4.

On Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 8:47 a.m., police gave a verbal warning to a car on Baldwin Lane that went past a school bus with its lights on.
At 9:16 a.m., a suspicious black pickup truck drove into the woods at the end of Hart Road. Earlier in the week a caller had requested extra patrols to deal with illegal hunters who park there. An officer left his card with the vehicle.
At 9:41 a.m., a call came in from Pond View Road about some stolen lumber.
At 10:15 a.m., a suspicious auto was reported on Jensen Street. It was having mechanical trouble.

On Thursday, Oct. 4 at 5:36 p.m., a caller reported that a vehicle parks in the Willow Cemetery two or three times a week. The driver reported that he goes there to relax.
At 6:31 p.m., somebody reported receiving texts from a strange number. Police found they were neither threatening nor harassing.
At 6:51 p.m., a caller reported a young boy jumping around on a street corner and not wearing shoes. He turned out to live in the neighborhood and his mother explained that he was out waving at passing cars.
