Garage Break-In Nets Several Thousand Dollars Worth of Goods

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Wednesday, April 17th and Sunday, April 21st.

On Wednesday, April 17th at 9:44 a.m., police took a call from a Patrice Lane resident about a neighbor possibly constructing an illegal driveway. Police found all in order.
At 12:55 p.m., a loud music complaint came in from Summer Street. An officer found all to be quiet.
At 2:27 p.m. a vandalism report was received from Laurel Road.
At 3:47 p.m. police took a complaint about some youths playing basketball on Lookout Terrace.
At 5:44 p.m. police issued a summons to a 31 year old Lynn man charging him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense.
At 9:39 p.m. a suspicious black SUV was reported on Sylvan Circle. It was gone on arrival.

On Thursday, April 18th at 2:42 p.m., police were informed of two men fishing at Sagamore Spring Golf Course. They left the area.
At 7:18 p.m. an officer spoke with some youths after receiving a noise complaint near Post Office Square.
At 7:58 p.m. polic took a call from Elmwood Road about a neighbor burning brush.
At 8:33 p.m. a North Broadway resident reported some stolen medication.

On Friday, April 19th at 7:52 a.m. a suspicious auto was reported on North Hill Drive. It checked out OK.
At 7:52 a.m. an accident was reported at the Dunkin Donuts in Post Office Square.
At 10:10 a.m. a suspicious vehicle was reported on Parsons Ave. It checked out OK.
At 10:35 p.m. police sent a group of youths on their way who were playing basketball at Our Lady of the Assumption School.

On Saturday, April 20th at 12:43 a.m. police issued a summons to a 45 year old Lynn resident for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration and for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
At 12:54 p.m. a minor accident was reported near North Broadway and Salem Street.
At 4:42 p.m. a burglary was reported on Main Street. Some electric wire was reported stolen.
At 6:05 p.m. a break-in was reported on East Tapley Road. A garage was entered and stolen items reportedly included skis, golf clubs, a chainsaw, a toolbox, and a weed trimmer.
At 7:07 p.m. a suspicious auto was reportedly parked on Underhill Road. It was gone on arrival.
At 10:20 p.m. a suspicious man reportedly knocked at a door on Main Street and asked how to get to Lynn. Soon after, police arrested Timothy McDowell, 32, 415 Chestnut Street, Lynn, and charged him on an out of town warrant.

On Sunday, April 21st at 3:52 a.m., police responded to a loud party at Lynnfield Commons.
At 11:24 a.m. police arrested Andrew S. Motta, 25, 11 Homestead Road, Lynnfield, charging him on two warrants.
At 11:33 a.m. a caller on Winchester Drive reported a loud excavator running. It was off on arrival.
At 7:28 p.m. police responded to a domestic incident on Parsons Ave. Peace was restored.
