Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, July 9 and Tuesday, July 10.
On Monday, July 9 at 1:57 a.m., police did traffic enforcement near Pillings Pond.
At 2:23 a.m., police did traffic enforcement on Summer Street.
At 9:05 a.m., police checked on a 911 hangup call that came from the . All was otherwise in order there.
At 10:33 a.m., a Friendship Lane resident reported that a mailbox had been damaged.
At 10:59 a.m., police assisted a motorist on North Hill Drive.
At 1:47 p.m., a suspicious auto was reported on Fernway. The driver checked out OK.
At 1:57 p.m., police did traffic enforcement on Walnut Street. One motorist received a verbal warning for speeding.
At 9:58 p.m., a Horseshoe Drive resident reported some youths were knocking down mailboxes.
At 10:29 p.m., a burglar alarm went off at . All was found to be secure.
At 11:35 p.m., a Westover Drive resident reported some juveniles were making noise.
On Tuesday, July 10 at 12:23 a.m., a burglar alarm went off at Sagamore Spring Golf Course. The alarm was possibly triggered by the sprinklers.
At 1:49 a.m., a Walnut Street resident reported that a suspicious auto had pulled into his yard. It turned out to be a family looking for a hotel.
At 1:54 a.m., police learned that the trash cans at had been knocked over again. A similar report came in last weekend.
At 4:06 a.m., a Sylvan Terrace resident reported that there was possibly someone in his basement. No intruder was found.
At 1:38 p.m., a caller reported a transformer was on fire near Thomas Road. The fire department handled the matter.
At 3:30 p.m., a group of youths were reported causing a disturbance on Main Street. An officer gave them a verbal warning.
At 6:14 p.m., there was a minor accident on Main Street.
At 6:50 p.m., the barrels at Glen Meadow Park were reported once again to be knocked over.
At 7:39 p.m., a Vokes Terrace resident called with a complaint about noise from a neighbor's construction project.
At 8:17 p.m., some youths were reported making noise near the Center Market. They were gone on arrival.
At 8:56 p.m., a large group of youths were reported heading into the woods at the end of Ledge Road. Police cleared them out.
At 9:38 p.m., some juveniles were reported parked in a car on Kimball Lane. An officer sent them on their way.
At 10:04 p.m., a noise complaint was received from Pillings Pond Road.
At 10:17 p.m., some noisy youths were reported on Horseshoe Drive. They were outside waiting for a ride.
At 10:58 p.m., a suspicious vehicle was reported at the . It turned out to be a woman using her cell phone.
At 11:36 p.m., police took a report of a verbal argument on Summer Street.
