Day Before Arrests, Several More Units Reported Broken Into

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, October 24 and Thursday, October 25.

On Wednesday, October 24 at 10:10 a.m., police were informed that several more units at the Simply Self Storage on Broadway had been broken into. Thefts were noted in the Thursday Lynnfield Police log this week, as well as the Tuesday one.
At 4:30 p.m., an Apple Hill Lane resident called to report that she thought her neighbor may have shot her dog with a BB gun.

On Thursday, October 25 at 8:56 a.m., police arrested two suspects, a Peabody man and a Waltham man, in connection with the previously mentioned storage unit break-ins. An account of the incident and summary of charges for both defendants is available at this link.
At 8:52 p.m., a Doncaster Circle resident called about a man who was apparently loading his truck up with flashlights. He turned out to be a nearby resident.
