Couple of Hit and Run Accidents Reported
Information provided by the Lynnfield Police. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.
Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls fort service between Monday, February 11th and Tuesday, February 12th.
On Monday, February 11th at 1:16 a.m. a disabled vehicle was reported on Thomas Road.
At 4:52 a.m. a Carol Ann Road resident reported that somebody was talking outside. Police found all to be in order.
At 11:28 a.m. a disabled auto was reported on Salem Street.
At 12:12 p.m. a suspicious vehicle was reported at Lynnfield Commons. It checked out OK.
At 3:43 p.m. a suspicious person was reported on Forest Hill Ave. He checked out OK.
At 3:52 p.m. police assisted with a dwelling lockout on Summer Street.
At 6:35 p.m. an unwanted party was sent along from the Lynnfield Mobil.
At 7:37 p.m. an officer gave a verbal warning for speeding on Salem Street.
On Tuesday, February 12th at 6:19 a.m. an accident with no injury was reported near the Exxon Station.
At 6:52 a.m. a man fell on black ice on Lowell Street.
At 8:05 a.m. a caller reported that a Ford F-250 knocked the mirror off his Chevy pickup truck and did not stop.
At 3:11 p.m. a caller reported that a pick up truck had struck a fence on Salem Street and driven away. Police determined that the vehicle never hit the fence.
Between 6:24 p.m. and 7:01 p.m. police issued a handful of verbal warnings to motorists for various infractions.
