Cooking Fire Contained Before It Spreads

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, July 17 and Thursday, July 18. 

On Wednesday, July 17 at 6:13 a.m. a disabled vehicle was reported at the 128/Walnut Street ramp. 
At 9 a.m. a suspicious silver pickup truck was reported on Locksley Road. 
At 9:24 a.m. a motor vehicle break-in was reported on Lil's Way. 
At 10:24 a.m. an Ostis Way resident reported their mailbox had just been damagd by a limo picking up a neighbor. 
At 11:01 a.m. police arrested Laura Avellino, 37, 38 Cedarwood Drive, Lynnfield, on a warrant of apprehension. 
At 11:50 a.m. a car was reportedly parked in a handicapped spot on Arlington Street. 
At 12:02 p.m. a man fell off a ladder on Grey Lane and was transported to an area hospital. 
At 12:59 p.m. police took a walk-in report of a motor vehicle break-in on Lowell Street. 
At 4:10 p.m. an erratic operator was reported on Salem Street. 
At 6:18 p.m. a minor accident was reported near Ledge Road. 

On Thursday, July 18 at 1:24 p.m. a suspicious vehicle was reported on Fernway. It turned out to be a contractor working in the neighborhood. 
At 8:05 p.m. Lynnfield assisted State Police with a BOLO alert for a vehicle that was later located in the Colonial parking lot. 
At 8:50 p.m. a possibly intoxicated man was reported in the Eastern Bank parking lot. He was gone on arrival. 
At 9:39 p.m. an accident was reported on Condon Circle. 
At 10:25 p.m. the fire department responded to Lowell Street after being informed that an outdoor cooking fire was starting to get out of control.
