Computers, Television Stolen In Burglary

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, July 20 and Thursday, July 21, 2011:
On Wednesday, July 20 at 12:47 a.m., police received a report of trespassing at the
At 6:53 a.m., a minor motor vehicle accident occurred at Essex and Main Street.
At 8:37 a.m. a burglar alarm went off on Horseshoe Drive.
At 8:38 a.m., a citizen accidentally dialed 911.
At 10:39 a.m., reported that a tarp from the sandbox had been damaged.
At 1:04 p.m., a burglar alarm on Wing Road was set off by house cleaners.
At 1:41 p.m., police provided a lift assist to an elderly town resident.
At 2:22 p.m., a break-in was reported on Munroe Street. A television and three computers with a combined value of about $5,800 were reported stolen.
At 2:54 p.m., a shoplifting report was received from the Christmas Tree Shop. From there, police issued a summons to a 45-year-old Danvers woman for shoplifting by asportation.
At 5:16 p.m., a burglar alarm went off on Main Street.
At 5:50 p.m., a burglar alarm went off at Lynnfield High School.
At 6 p.m., police took a call from a Munroe Street resident regarding the break-in that occurred earlier in the day.
At 6:17 p.m., a burglar alarm went off on Archer Lane. The house was found to be secure.
At 6:32 p.m., a Walnut Street resident reported that for the second time in a week, masks and a wig were found on a corner of her property.
On Thursday, July 21 at 1:45 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Route 128.
At 4:21 a.m., police and fire personnel responded to an alarm activation at Sunrise Assisted Living.
At 8:34 a.m., police were informed that the clubhouse at the Lynnfield Woods Office Park on Broadway was burglarized.
At 9:44 a.m., a Longbow Circle resident reported a suspicious car in front of the house.
At 1:20 p.m., a tree limb was reported to be blocking the way at Chestnut Street and Alderney Way.
At 1:27 p.m., a damaged mailbox was reported on North Hill Drive.
At 3:19 p.m., an officer assisted a Main Street resident who had called to request help opening a jar.
At 4:21 p.m., police assisted a Ross Drive resident who was locked out of the house.
At 9 p.m., police and fire personnel responded to a report of an odor of gas on Lockwood Road.
At 5:23 p.m., a Newhall Road resident reported finding the front door open upon returning home.
At 11:10 p.m., police received a noise complaint from a resident of Lynnfield Commons. It turned out that another tenant was locked out of his apartment.
Editor's Note: As of 11 a.m. on Friday, July 22, police received five separate reports of motor vehicle break-ins in town. In the past, police have reminded residents to keep vehicles locked as thieves most commonly target unlocked ones.
