Combative Truck Driver, Stubborn Pamphleteers Among Weekend Calls

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, Novembr 1 and Sunday, November 3, 2013.
On Friday, Nov. 1 at 4:13 a.m. police provided a ride to a woman to her home from Lynnfield Commons.
At 5:01 p.m. a vehicle lockout was reported on Lowell Street.
At 5:45 p.m. a disturbance was reported on Fall Way.
At 8:57 p.m. a problem between neighbors was reported on Tophet Road.
At 11:20 p.m. some youths were reportedly ringing doorbells on Bancroft Street.
On Saturday, Nov. 2 at 8:43 a.m. an erratic operator was reported near Summer Street and Walnut Street.
At 8:46 a.m. some painters reportedly set off an alarm on Longbow Road.
At 12:31 p.m. a Green Meadow Drive resident reported a flooded basement.
At 1:20 p.m. a caller reported that the operator of a large landscaping truck had threatened him on Main Street.
At 2:47 p.m. a Ramsdell Road resident reported a bow hunter had just entered the woods.
At 4:36 p.m. police took a call from MarketStreet Lynnfield security about some individuals placing religious literature on cars and refusing at first to leave.
At 5:43 p.m. a woman was reportedly staggering down the road near the Christmas Tree Shop. She was transported to a nearby hospital.
At 8:53 p.m. a Cortland Road resident reported spotting shadows in the yard. A search was negative.
At 8:57 p.m. a Lynnfield Commons resident called about some people arguing in a nearby apartment.
At 10:36 p.m. a man and a woman were reportedly arguing on Chestnut Street.
At 11:22 p.m. police went to the Yard House for what turned out to be a verbal dispute between two friends.
On Sunday, November 3 at 1:45 a.m. a domestic disturbance call came in from Salem Street. Police arrested Dori L. Claffey, 36, 855 Salem Street, Lynnfield and charged her with assault and battery domestic.
At 7:50 p.m. police spoke with a Lynnfield Commons resident who had reportedly placed some lit candles out in the hallway.
At 11:33 p.m. police sent some people on their way from behind the senior center.
