Car Towed After Owner Admits To Being Impaired

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, Sept. 23 and Tuesday, Sept. 24. 

On Monday, Sept. 23 at 5:32 a.m. the fire department responded to a defective fire alarm at the library. 
At 7:23 p.m. police came across a group with a car parked at Suntaug Lake. The owner reportedly admitted to an officer that he had just smoked marijuana. A further search found no more of it and the vehicle was parked and not running at the time. No other individuals in the group apparently had driver's licenses, so the vehicle was towed from the scene. 
At 11:30 p.m. police took a complaint about youths making noise on Westover Drive. 

On Tuesday, September 24 at 5:43 p.m. police took a walk-in complaint involving a dispute with a contractor. 
At 7:17 p.m. an officer performed a civil standby on Pillings Pond Road.
