Baby Deer Freed From Soccer Net, Wallet Stolen at Church

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, October 14 and Tuesday, October 15, 2013.
On Monday, October 14 at 1:42 a.m. police took a call about a suspicious vehicle with lights on that turned out to be a neighbor talking.
At 1:12 p.m. a strange odor was reported in an apartment at Lynnfield Commons. The placed turned out to be vacant and had food left in the fridge.
At 1:47 p.m. police took a call about a man who was several hours late from a walk. He was located at home.
At 3:14 p.m. some youths were reportedly riding minibikes on Cortland Lane. They were gone on arrival.
At 8:04 p.m. an accident was reported on South Broadway.
On Tuesday, October 15 at 12:01 a.m two deer were reportedly struck on the Route 128/Walnut Street ramp.
At 7:56 a.m. the DPW reported a baby deer was stuck in a soccer net at the high school.
At 9:25 a.m. a suspicious auto was reported on Russett Lane.
At 11:27 a.m. a woman reported her wallet was removed from her purse while she was at church.
At 11:43 a.m. a man was reported lying in the grass on South Broadway. He was gone on arrival.
At 2:33 p.m. police took a fraud report.
At 4:55 p.m. police took a larceny report from Flagship Motors.
At 6:21 p.m. police took a fraud report.
