Alarm Activations Keeping Police Busy This Week

Week started off with fatal one-car accident at Salem and Walnut street intersection.

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between June 27-28, 2011:

On Monday, June 27 at 12:55 a.m., police and fire units responded to the scene of a . The driver was found unresponsive and entrapped in the car.
At 6:27 a.m., police issued a verbal warning to workers on Salem Street after a complaint about construction noise.
At 9:06 a.m., police and fire units responded to an accidental alarm activation at the Christmas Tree Shops.
At 2:28 p.m., police took a walk-in report from a Bluejay Road resident about a larceny.
At 5:13 p.m., Lynnfield police and fire units, as well as personnel from Peabody and the State Police, responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 128 South under the Route 1 bridge.
At 9:25 p.m., a Vokes Terrace resident reported a suspicious auto in front of a house. Police determined that the vehicle checked out.
At 10:29 p.m., police issued a summons to a 24-year-old Lowell woman for operating a motor vehicle with revoked registation, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and speeding.

On Tuesday, June 28 at 3:49 a.m., police assisted Lynnfield fire units with a medical emergency transport.
At 4:22 a.m., police and fire units responded to a medical aid call.
At 6:39 a.m., police and fire units responded to a Grey Lane resident's report that her fire alarm was going off repeatedly.
At 10:06 a.m., police took a walk-in civil complaint regarding a bad check.
At 10:12 a.m., a burglar alarm was set off by cleaners on Ashley Court.
At 1:17 p.m., police performed a well-being check on Ross Drive.
At 2:21 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Taylor Terrace. The dwelling was found to be secure.
At 2:48 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Huntingdon Avenue.
At 3:37 p.m., an Upton Lane resident called to report hearing people yelling nearby.
At 4:45 p.m., a burglar alarm at Custom Wireless on Salem Street was set off by employees.
At 5:38 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm activation at The Savings Bank.
At 6:12 p.m., a burglar alarm went off at Lynnfield High School. Police found the outdoor science door unlocked and informed the custodian.
At 6:27 p.m., a burglar alarm went off at Lynnfield Middle School. The building was secure, but police found a chain across the left driveway had been pulled out.
At 6:56 p.m., police investigated a 911 hangup call.
At 7:34 p.m., a burglar alarm went off on Lowell Street.
At 8:55 p.m., a disabled auto was reported in the intersection of Broadway and Salem Street. The vehicle was moved to the Remax parking lot.
At 9 p.m., police took a report of youths shooting off fireworks behind Center Market. They dispersed the group but did not find any fireworks.
At 9:43 p.m., a disabled auto was reported at Exit 41 on Route 128. It was gone on arrival.
