A Theft And A Couple Of Suspicious Autos Reported

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, January 16th and Thursday, January 17th:
On Wednesday, January 16th at 7:43 a.m. a bus was reported stuck on Sparhawk Drive due to icy road conditions. DPW responded with sand.
At 11:14 a.m. a suspicious auto was reported on Salem Street. It turned out to be a visiting nurse looking for a nearby home.
At 3:33 p.m. police took a walk-in report involving a domestic assault and battery. They arrested Karen Simpson, 46, 393 Summer Street, Lynnfield, for assault and battery domestic.
At 4 p.m. police took a report of a theft at the Boston Sports Club.
At 4:40 p.m. an accident was reported on Lowell Street.
On Thursday, January 17th at 8:50 a.m. an accident was reported near Pyburn Road.
At 11:22 a.m. a suspicious man was reported in front of a house on the sidewalk on Main Street. He checked out OK.
At 11:26 a.m. a Hampton Court resident called to report a damaged mailbox.
At 11:40 a.m. a hitchiker was reported on the Route 128 ramp. State Police responded.
At 10 p.m. a suspicious auto was reported on Chestnut Street.
