A Stolen Car, A Shouting Man, And A Steamy Building

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Wednesday, January 9th and Sunday, January 13th, 2013.

On Wednesday, January 9th at 10:38 a.m. a disabled truck was reported on Route 128 under the bridge. It was gone on arrival.
At 11:40 a.m. a Hart Road resident called about a possible hunter heading into the woods.
At 4:57 p.m. a possible gunshot was reported near the Sagamore Golf Course. An officer determined it was construction noise.

On Thursday, January 10th at 4:12 a.m. a shed at the high school was reportedly damaged during the night.
At 8:16 p.m. an officer issued a warning for speeding near Keniston Road.

On Friday, January 11th at 8:24 a.m. a stolen vehicle was reported at Kelly Jeep Chrysler Plymouth on Route 1.
At 2:02 p.m. an accident was reported on Bay State Road.
At 6:20 p.m. a two car accident was reported on Condon Circle.
At 7:19 p.m. an accident was reported on Homestead Road.

On Saturday, January 12th at 10:27 a.m. a minor accident was reported on Summer Street.
At 12:43 p.m. some youths were reportedly throwing snowballs at cars on Chestnut Street. An officer spoke with them.
At 1:39 p.m. a possible theft was reported at Flagship Motors.
At 1:54 p.m. police sent a man on his way who was asking people for money near Lynnfield Meat and Deli.
At 2:14 p.m. a suspicious person was reported on Moulton Drive. An officer gave him a ride to his destination.
At 5:30 p.m. a restraining order violation was reported.
At 7:37 p.m. possible gunshots were reported near Dunstan Road. They turned out to be fireworks.
At 9:15 p.m. two suspicious cars were reported on Kimball Lane. They were gone on arrival.
At 10:10 p.m. a loud party was reported on Elizabeth Way. Police dispersed the group.
At 11:17 p.m. another noise complaint came in from Elizabeth Way. It turned out to be some people cleaning up from the party.

On Sunday, January 13th at 11 a.m. police responded to an unattended death on Chestnut Street.
At 1:31 p.m. a caller reported smoke in the building at St. Maria Goretti Church. It turned out to be steam from a pipe.
At 2:43 p.m. a man was reported on Westover Drive yelling at people. An officer gave him a ride home.
At 4:33 p.m.a suspicious auto with two men was reported in front of a house on Orchard Lane. It turned out to be the resident.
At 7:46 p.m. an Alexandra Road resident reported that a moving truck was in front of a neighbor's house, and that the neighbor was not at home. It turned out to be a furniture delivery.
