A Phantom Walker And A Damaged Mail Truck

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, October 29 and Tuesday, October 30.

On Monday, October 29 at 3:05 a.m., an Edward Ave. resident called to report hearing somebody walking around the house. An investigation found all to be in order, with the doors and windows of the home locked.
At 11:59 a.m., police issued a summons to a 56 year old Lynn man for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and not having one's registration in possession.
At 1:01 p.m., a limb was reported down on Main Street.
At 1:02 p.m., a limb was reported through a home's roof on Russet Lane.
At 1:34 p.m., a tree was reported down on a postal truck on Pillings Pond Road. The driver was out of the time at the time it happened.
At 2:40, 3:08 and 4:13 p.m., police took more reports of trees down on local streets.
At 5:30 p.m., a tree was reported down on Alderney Way.

On Tuesday, October 30 at 9:51 a.m., a suspicious auto was reported on Salem Street.
At 3:52 p.m., a Maple Street resident reported a break-in that appeared to have happened earlier in the afternoon.
At 4:31 p.m., police took a walk-in fraud report.
At 4:31 p.m., police went to Tappan Court after a woman reported finding her garage door open.
At 7:20 p.m., an accident was reported on South Broadway.
At 8:35 p.m., police took a report of a tree down.
