A Lottery Scam, A Sound At The Door, And Burnt Food

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, December 17th and Tuesday, December 18th.

On Monday, Dec. 17 at at 12:02 p.m., a fire alarm caused by food on the stove was reported on Summer Street. The fire department handled it.
At 10:22 a.m., wires down were reported on Keniston Street.
At 6:41 p.m., police took a report involving threatening calls.
At 8:59 p.m., an individual reported somebody had called with an apparent lottery scam.
At 9:40 p.m., a caller reported a burning odor on Spearfields Lane. The fire department responded.

On Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 12:35 a.m., a Locksley Road resident reported that someone might have just tried to open her door. Investigation found that everything was in order.
At 9:27 a.m., a woman reportedly fell and hit her head in the parking lot at Our Lady of the Assumption.
At 4:30 p.m., police took a call involving a prior accident.
