Phish Food and Mud Pie Go Together Like Ice Cream and Chocolate Sauce

Hi.  My name is Phish Food, which is a Ben & Jerry’s flavor made with chocolate ice cream, caramel, marshmallow, and tiny chocolate fish.  Just as it is everyone’s favorite flavor, I am everyone’s favorite kitten.  In fact, I get many calls from potential adopters.  But all of them want only one kitten and I am devoted to my sister, Mud Pie, named for another great Ben and Jerry’s flavor, chocolate ice cream with Irish coffee liqueur flavor and a chocolate cookie swirl.  Don’t you think these two flavors go well together?  We do, and we are looking for someone with enough room in their heart and home for two adorable and tasty kitties.

Of course I don’t mean you should eat me!  That was a figure of speech to continue the ice cream theme we have going.  What I’m trying to say is that I am a very loveable five-month-old boy who is outgoing and curious.  You can pick me up and pet me.  Well, you can do that when I am not running around and being playful.  I am a kitten after all.  And I am in the prime of my kittenhood.  I have all my cat abilities and all my child-like energy, interests, and fantasies.  I will chase anything and everything.  Then, I will stop long enough to let you pick me up for a cuddle.  What could be better?

My favorite thing, however, is my sister Mud Pie. Yes, I do chase her sometimes, but it is all in fun.  She is so beautiful.  She looks a lot like me with her lovely grey and white coat.  You can tell us apart because we have slightly different white markings.  And because I am the more outgoing one.  Mud Pie is quite playful with me, but she needs time to decide whether or not to play with any new humans she meets.  When she sees you, she is likely to run and hide.  But, she will warm up to you if you can show her more attention, hold her and let her get you used to you.  There isn’t much time for that in our very full foster home.  So I am eager for us to get adopted by someone who will love me and who will work with me to help Mud Pie get over her shyness.  Once Mud Pie decides to trust you, she will be the most faithful pet ever.  I promise.

Besides being beautiful and playful and committed to each other, Mud and I are fine around other cats. But, if we will be your only pets, all the better, as we are a matched pair of furry fun who can fill you home with our antics, our purrs, our whiskery nuzzles, and all the good things kittens bring to their peoples’ homes and hearts.   Are you game for two grey and white cuties?  If so, please call PAWS now.  Time is a-wasting and we are eager to start our new life with you.
