Obituary: Debra A. DeVito, 55

Debra A. DeVito, 55, a longtime Lynnfield resident, died on Monday, December 9 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Born in Salem on January 14, 1958 she was the daughter of the late Ira E. and Leah (Satzow) Gershaw.

Mrs. DeVito was a graduate of Swampscott High School, Class of 1976, and later went on to graduate from UMass Amherst in 1980. She had worked as a telecommunications consultant with AT&T for many years. Mrs. DeVito enjoyed traveling the world, hiking, spending time with her children, and walks at Breakhart with her Golden Retriever, Wallace.

She was the wife of Anthony DeVito. She was the mother of Jonathan L. DeVito of Chicago, IL and Tia Regina DeVito of Long Island City, NY. She was the sister of Thomas E. Gershaw and his wife Voshimi of Kirkland, WA. She is also survived by her niece, Ellie Gershaw.

Services will be private.
