Connie L. Restani, 86, of Lynnfield, Mass., formerly of Beverly Farms, Revere and Bell Flower, California died on Wednesday, January 16th at Winchester Hospital after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband of sixty years, Neil, last June.

Born in Boston on April 21, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Louise (Demars) Parziale.

Connie was raised in East Boston and Somerville. She was a graduate of Girls' Latin High School, Class of 1943. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Boston State Teachers College in 1947 and also earned two Masters degrees. She was a Lynnfield resident since 1964. Connie retired in 1997 after teaching first grade in the Lynnfield Public Schools for 35 years. She also taught elementary school children at Beverly Farms, Revere, and Bell Flower Public Schools. She was extremely proud of all of her students and attended many Lynnfield High School graduations to see her former students graduate. Connie was also an active member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International of women educators.

She is survived by her son Peter Restani of Miami Beach, Fla., her four sisters, Catherine Ciampa of Wilmington, Evelyn Belmonte of Stoneham, Miki De Angelis of Woburn, and Marie B. Ferrari of Reading, and her three grandchildren, Dominick, Candice, and Joseph. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Connie was predeceased by her two brothers, Carmine and Vincent Parziale.

Internment was at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.
