Youth Group Collecting Items For Shelter Animals

Middle School Youth Group at Centre Congregational Church collecting items for animals at Nevins Farm (MSPCA) complex in Methuen.

The following is an announcement from Centre Congregational Church:

The Middle School Youth Group at is collecting items to help abandoned and surrendered animals.  The donations will go to Nevins Farm (MSPCA) in Methuen, an animal care complex that provides shelter and adoption services for farm animals as well as cats, dogs, and small pets.  They will never turn an animal away that needs their help regardless of age, health, or behavior. They are an independent non-profit, relying only on donations.

You are invited to donate to this great cause!   You can leave items at Centre Congregational Church.  During the week, please go to the parking lot entrance to the church, ring the bell to be let in, and leave your donations in the collection box.  On Sunday mornings, please drop off donations in the collection box.

Some of the items on the Nevins Farm wish list are:

For dogs – Training treats, Gentle Leader collars, interactive/hard to destroy toys such as Buster Cubes.

For cats – Toys (such as jingle balls, ping pong balls, and play mice), grooming brushes, cat beds, cat carriers, and litter boxes.

For rabbits/small mammals – Care Fresh pet bedding, wooden toys, and wooden toys.
