Town Tree Lighting Is Saturday

Santa expected to arrive around 3:15 p.m.

The following is an announcement from the Lynnfield Recreation Commission:

The Lynnfield Recreation Commission announces the 8th Annual Tree Lighting.  The ceremony will be held on the Lynnfield Common on Saturday, Dec. 3.  The festivities will begin at 3 p.m. with Santa arriving at approximately 3:15 p.m. (please bring your camera as you will have an opportunity to take pictures with Santa).  The Girl Scouts and the Lynnfield High School Tri-M Music Honor Society will entertain the community with seasonal songs and lead the group in a sing-a-long. The Tree Lighting will be at 4:45 p.m. 

Also, the Annual Gingerbread House Contest entries will beon display at the Centre Congregational Church.  The doors are open from10:00 – 5:30 all day Saturday.  Feel free to come on by to appreciate the creativity of our local groups and individuals.
