Lynnfield nutritionist and author was guest at the Lynnfield Library's Curious About Cuisine meeting Wednesday afternoon.
The Lynnfield Library's Curious About Cuisine group welcomed author and nutritonist and educator Anna Tourkakis for a talk Wednesday afternoon that focused on healthy eating.
Anna is the author of the cookbook "Delicious Simplicity," which offers healthy recipes, including desserts, with a Mediterranean influence. Her columns on nutrition and healthy eating, complete with recipes, have also run on this website in recent months. Last year, and also ran .
Curious About Cuisine meets monthly during the non-summer months and features a different culinary topic each time.
The group's next activity will actually be a field trip to the Whole Foods in Woburn on Wednesday, May 9 at 11 a.m. Library Director Nancy Ryan reported that if anyone needs a ride to the outing, they can inquire with her.
