Milo is a Future Olympian

Milo is a Future Olympian

       Milo is a Future Olympian

My name is Milo and I have some growing to do, so I can catch up with my long legs and big feet.  Being an adolescent boy is a part of my charm. Don’ t you think I am adorable in my orange tiger striped coat?  Besides being cute, I am also very friendly and playful.

I love string toys and will jump very high to catch them.  I am thinking of a career in basketball or possibly a try for the US men’s gymnastics team in 2016.  My event will either be the high jump or box diving.  Ok, as you can see from my picture, maybe I will specialize in being stuck in the box when exploring.  Is there a gold medal for that event?

Despite these antics, I can be very laid back when I am ready to rest.  Indeed, I fell asleep on top of my foster mother the other night while we were watching the Olympics.  I can really be quite snuggly and I love to be stroked.  Who knew cuddly came in such an athletic body?

Besides being cute, athletic, and affectionate, I can also be very caring.  I have an amazing tongue that I use to groom myself…and you.  I like to keep my people very clean so expect some licking from me.  Expect some chatting too.  I have a wonderfully rich vocabulary and if I need your attention, I do know how to use my words… I mean meows and chirps.

So are you game to help me prepare for Rio in 2016?  We can work out daily, watch competitor’s tapes in our down time, and just hang out and be buddies.  I am certain we can make a gold medal team.  How can I be so certain?  Because if you adopt me, then I will already be a winner and so will you.  Sound good?  Then what are you waiting for.  Call PAWS and set up a meeting.

If you are interested in learning more about Milo, or any of our available cats and dogs, contact PAWS at (781) 246-6111 or PAWSwakefield@yahoo.com.  Join us this Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at VCA Wakefield Animal Hospital for a Kitty Beach Party.  We have some wonderful adult cats like Milo as well as several litters of kittens ready for adoption who plan to attend.  The surf is up and the cats are just waiting to find new homes.  We also do adoptions the first Saturday of the month at at the Woburn PETCO from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m.  And now you can also meet some of our cats at our new adoption center at the Danvers Pet Smart on Thursdays and Fridays from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m.
