“Creating awareness for NF is the greatest challenge we face.  We are so grateful to the Governor for giving us this opportunity to spread the word.  While NF isn’t a household word the disease is more common than you’d think,” said Peluso.

Neurofibromatosis (NF) is a neurological genetic disorder that can cause tumors to form on the nerves anywhere in or on the body at any time.  NF affects three times as many people as muscular dystrophy and cystic fibrosis combined.
