Horribles Parade And Concert Coming Up Wednesday

LHS Rotary Interact Club organizing parade, games, pie eating contest, and more.

The town is holding its Independence Day celebration on Wednesday, July 11 to coincide with the kickoff of the annual summer concert series.

The Lynnfield High School Rotary Interact Club is working to organize this year's Horribles Parade, which will include doll carriage, bike, and float, decoration contests. Registration begins at 3 p.m. and is $5 per child, not to exceed $10 per family.

The event will also feature a DJ, plus games geared toward the children, as well as a pie eating contest and ground games such as three-legged races and sack races. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase after 4 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the LHS Rotary Interact Club.

The concert, featuring local band Evolution, gets underway at 6 p.m.
