Home Needed: Peppermint, A Three-Year-Old Black and White Cat

Peppermint: A sweet-as-candy girl seeks devoted companions.

Peppermint may be a funny name for a cat, but when you see my beautiful black and white markings, you will know why they named me after a candy. I like to think they were also thinking of my sweet personality, which, like a sweet minty treat, will grow on you as we get to know each other.

Enough about you, let’s talk about me. Not that I am self-centered. On the contrary. I am a girl who likes to be around people and I plan to follow you around during the day, especially if you work on your computer or do a crossword puzzle. I also like to play. who doesn’t?  And sometimes I even like to kick up my heels and run around the house like a mad kitten, which I still am at just three years old. I am past most of that kitten nuttiness, however. As you can see in my photos, usually I just like to find a nice spot to watch the goings on in the house.

I do have one need of my own and that is to be your one and only. I probably do not want to live with noisy kids, although multiple adults are fine and I don’t mind little ones who visit occasionally. I am very healthy, but I do need a medication rubbed behind my ear every day (what a great way to take meds!).  This helps to keep me calm when I’m faced with things that used to make me anxious. But, no more! Now, I enjoy being petted again and I even like sitting in laps! Is yours warm and ready for me? If so, here I come with a trill and a chirp, happy to see you and make you mine forever.
