The Rotary Club of Lynnfield recently presented a donation to the Lynnfield Public Library for its “Get Ready to Read!” program for parents, caregivers, educators and others who are interested in fostering a love of reading at an early age.

The donation will be used to fund a presentation by authors Barbara Kasok and Susan Marx based on their book, Help Me Get Ready to Read: a Practical Guide for Reading Aloud to Children During their First Five Years, as well the purchase of early literacy kits, print books and eBooks that will be available at the library to borrow in early 2014.
