LHS Students Support Typhoon Relief and Haven From Hunger

Students ran canned food drive and also raised over $500 for those affected by typhoon in Philippines.

The following was provided by the Lynnfield School District:

During November, the Student Council and Social Studies classes ran a canned food drive to benefit the Haven from Hunger food pantry in Peabody.  Lynnfield High School students responded to this call for help others by bringing in 2014 cans.  As an added incentive, the Student Council pledged to donate 25 cents per food item to the Typhoon relief effort in the Philippines.  As a result, L.H.S. Student Council will send $516 to help people in the Philippines.  Thank you to all students and staff who contributed to this successful effort.
