Lynnfield Tree Committee Releases Spring 'Tree Talk'

Volunteers with the town tree committee are focused on keeping Lynnfield beautiful and protecting one of its great natural resources.

The Lynnfield Tree Committee recently sent out its annual spring newsletter to town residents. This is one of several entities in town that exists to help beautify Lynnfield.

Committee Chair Jane Bandini provided this note to those who would like to learn more or get involved:

The committee continues its efforts to educate the community about the environmental importance of Lynnfield's trees which provide cleaner air, decreased noise, climate control and flood prevention. In this issue we explain how trees influence the immediate weather on your property and how you can help trees in their struggle to survive our quickly changing ecosystem.

As Nature impacts our lives everyday, it is up to us to recognize our impact on Nature. The Tree Committee strives to address the needs of the community; we hope that as many people enjoy reading Tree Talk as we do writing it.  If you missed previous issues, copies are available at Town Hall and the library. The committee is always interested in new members - please contact the Conservation Commission to join us and in the process enrich yourself and the community.
